These Website Terms of Use govern access to and use of the website, forms, customer portal links, online estimates, educational materials, and other digital features operated by Aegis Pest Defense LLC, doing business as Aegis Pest Defense ("Aegis," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.

1: Website information is not a service agreement

Website descriptions, pest guides, price ranges, promotions, inspection information, and other content are general information. They are not a diagnosis, pesticide label, safety data sheet, medical opinion, guarantee of pest elimination, or binding promise to perform a service. A service becomes binding only when Aegis accepts an order and the customer accepts the applicable written service agreement. If these Terms conflict with an accepted service agreement, the service agreement controls for that service.

2: Eligibility and authority

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract to place an order. By submitting a service address, you represent that you are the property owner, an authorized tenant, property manager, or another person with authority to request the work and provide access. You are responsible for obtaining any landlord, association, tenant, or occupant permissions required for service.

3: Estimates availability and acceptance

Online prices and availability may depend on property size, location, condition, infestation level, access, service frequency, and selected options. Unless a page clearly states otherwise, an online estimate is not final until Aegis reviews and accepts the order. Aegis may correct an obvious pricing or description error, decline work outside its service area or licensing, or propose revised work before service begins. The customer may reject a revised proposal and receive a refund of any unearned prepayment.

4: Acceptable website use

You may use the website only for lawful personal or business purposes. You may not interfere with website security, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, scrape the website at scale, impersonate another person, submit false service requests, misuse payment credentials, or copy Aegis content except as allowed by law.

5: Ownership

The website's text, graphics, logos, photographs, guides, and arrangement are owned by Aegis or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Aegis grants you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive right to view and use the website for its intended purpose. No other rights are transferred.

6: Third party services and links

The website may connect to scheduling, payment, mapping, review, social-media, or other third-party services. Those providers may apply their own terms and privacy practices. Aegis is not responsible for third-party websites or services it does not control.

7: Website availability and disclaimers

Aegis works to keep the website accurate and available but does not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and general educational content are provided "as is" and "as available." Aegis disclaims implied warranties relating solely to website use, but nothing in these Terms limits a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8: Limitation of website liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aegis will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising solely from website use or inability to use the website. Aegis's total liability for a website-only claim will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount paid specifically for the website feature giving rise to the claim. This section does not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and it does not replace the liability terms in an accepted service agreement.

9: Privacy electronic communications and changes

The Privacy Policy explains how Aegis handles personal information. The Booking and Payment Terms govern online orders, electronic signatures, and recurring charges. Aegis may update these Website Terms prospectively by posting a revised version and effective date. Changes do not retroactively alter an already accepted service agreement unless the agreement and law allow it.

10: Governing law and contact

Utah law governs these Website Terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any court proceeding relating solely to these Terms must be brought in a court with jurisdiction in Orem, Utah, unless applicable law requires another location.
